With the application of new technologies like digitization, optical character recognition (OCR), text-to-speech technologies and audio-visual devices the project will aim to overcome the boundaries between Urdu and Hindi literary spheres, produced during last two hundred years i.e.  the phase of colonialism and printing press. After digitization of Hindi and Urdu literary journals, bringing together of the two literary spheres, shall give birth to the one of the largest active literary audiences of the world at our portal i.e. Hindi-Urdu Talking Literary Portal (HUTLP).
